The board’s Virginia Career Works youth program is launching a new “Career Mentoring Service,” which will connect young people to an expert in their career pathway. Those chosen to participate in the program will be matched with a mentee, who will meet with them monthly over a one-year period to share their insight and expertise. Anyone interested in volunteering in this exciting new youth program should contact Sarah Grant, Youth Program Coordinator, at (434) 485-2140 or email sarah.grant@vcwcentral.com.
