Alec is the Executive Director of the CVPDC and the Region 2000 Services Authority. He actively works with political leaders and their appointees in our area to improve regional cooperation.

Kelly provides guidance to the CVPDC planning program.  She coordinates with localities to develop, apply, and manage community, environmental, transportation, mitigation planning and implementation projects.  Hitchcock coordinates with local, state and federal agencies to advance regional projects including the region’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy and the Hazard Mitigation Plan.   She also plays a key role in advancing alternative transportation plans and programs in the region.

Sandy handles the accounting functions for Region 2000 Services Authority and the Central Virginia Radio Communications Board along with payroll and employee benefits.

Mariel assists in guiding the CVPDC and CVTPO transportation planning program services. She fosters collaboration among local, state, and federal agency representatives, industry experts, and community members to advance multimodal transportation planning initiatives. She is dedicated to implementing effective, innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions that meet the diverse needs of the communities within our region.

Ada serves as the CVPDC Commuter Assistance Program Coordinator. In her role Ada works with the areas commuters and businesses to advance transportation options—carpooling, transit, vanpools, biking and walking–to access area resources. Ada works to advance the benefits of DRPT’s ConnectingVA program.

Jefrado comes to the CVPDC with experience in Section 8 housing programs, emergency management, client program/funding qualification, family and community interaction/outreach, and housing construction/management experience from North Carolina and various localities throughout Virginia. Jefrado currently serves as the Project Manager for the Town of Bedford Hilltop Community Revitalization Project.

Traci connects businesses with job seekers in the greater Lynchburg region and advances economic prosperity through workforce development solutions. The Virginia Career Works Central Region provides a variety of employment-related services for businesses and assists individuals with job placement, career development and access to training, under the direction of the Central Virginia Workforce Development Board. Tim oversees marketing and outreach activities for the Central Virginia Workforce Development Board. He coordinates a regional Business Services Team that develops strategies for talent development in specific industry sectors. Tim also supports the administrative functions of the workforce development board and works to build relationships with local employers.
