CVPDC Launches Regional Survey to Guide Future Investments and Economic Development
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Central Virginia Planning District Commission (CVPDC) is updating the regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), a five-year strategic plan to strengthen and diversify the region's economy (Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell Counties and the City of Lynchburg). The CEDS is a roadmap that helps identify regional priorities, guide economic development initiatives, and support eligibility for state and federal funding opportunities.
The Central Virginia Planning District Commission (CVPDC) is inviting residents, businesses, community organizations, and local leaders to help shape economic vitality across Central Virginia through a new public survey launching June 26.
The survey will remain open through July 17 and can be accessed at:

Responses will help guide the development of goals and strategies that support economic prosperity and community vitality over the coming years. Areas of focus include workforce development, agriculture, housing, infrastructure, business growth, and overall quality of life throughout Central Virginia.
