Share Your Input on the Draft Multimodal Network

The CVPDC, City of Lynchburg, and GLTC are partnering to develop a plan to make it easier and safer for all users to access destinations in Lynchburg with or without a car. The Lynchburg Multimodal Plan will propose strategies and projects to develop a long-term transportation network, creating ways to get to important places such as schools, parks, transit routes, and jobs by walking, taking a bus, or biking.

The Draft Lynchburg Multimodal Network Map presents a vision of connected corridors, or streets, to support the use of walking, using the bus, biking, and other non-car modes (e.g., skateboarding) to reach Lynchburg destinations. The Draft Network Map has analyzed and, using data and input, developed value scores based on the following evaluation factors:

  • Connectivity & Access: How well an area connects to destinations and neighborhoods.
  • Demand & Usage: Where people currently do or are likely to in the future walk, bike, or use transit; and
  • Community Input: Survey and public “Lynchburg Together” mapping tool.

We need your input and opinions.

  • Which routes are most important to you?
  • What’s missing or unclear?
  • What kinds of improvements would you like to see?

Help refine the plan by:
