The CVPDC has launched the Water Relief Mini-Grant Program. The mini-grant program provides up to $4,500 to fund the installation of Best Management Practices (BMPs) projects to improve water quality. All organizations, schools, and community groups are welcome to apply for this grant opportunity.
Tree plantings are one of many BMP projects eligible for funding through the Water Relief Mini-Grant Program.
The Water Relief Mini-Grant Guide and application are found here on the CVPDC website. We are accepting applications through June 30. To find examples of small BMP projects and to get more familiar with the benefits of green infrastructure, head to the EPA’s Soak Up the Rain website.
Funding for the Water Relief Mini-Grant Program is funded by US EPA’s Chesapeake Bay Small Watershed Grant and partially funded by the DEQ and the CVPDC.
