FY 2021 Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) NOFOs for the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) and the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) grant programs will open on Sept. 30, 2021 and close at 3 p.m. Eastern Time on Jan. 28, 2022.  FEMA’s two mitigation programs provide funding to execute mitigation activities that strengthen the ability to be prepared for and lessen impact of natural disasters.  The Central Virginia PDC Hazard Mitigation Plan 2020 Update, approved by FEMA Jan. 2, 2021, and adopted by all the CVPDC localities, serves as the region’s hazard mitigation plan.  Access FEMA Mitigation Grants NOFO HERE.

FEMA Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) grant programs will open September 30th.
