Congratulations to the Town of Appomattox for their $700,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). One of the 14 awards totaling $13,431,891, the Town
will utilize the grant for improvement in the Town’s downtown/central business district. Appomattox Town is also updating its Comprehensive Plan and will be working directly with area residents and stakeholders over the next 8 months to write the script for the community’s guiding growth, policy and development document.
