The Central Virginia Workforce Development Board, administrator of the local Federal Workforce Programs, received notice that the both the Virginia Career Works Center, located at 3125 Odd Fellows Rd., Lynchburg VA, and the YouthWorks affiliate center, located at 1516 Florida Ave., Lynchburg VA, have met the certification requirements for
the Virginia Board of Workforce Development. This certification means that these locations meet high standards for serving the needs of local employers and job seeker participants, ensuring equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities to benefit from One-Stop services and confirm that procedures are in place for quality assurance and continuous improvement of One-Stop career and business services.
