Opportunities to Engage in Watershed Protection Initiatives

A new year and new opportunities in 2022 to engage in initiatives that highlight value, educate, and support interaction with our watershed resources. Here are a few exciting ways to start the year with a Water Quality bang:

Clean Water Webinar Series

The Mid-Atlantic Planning Collaboration, an APA Virginia-Chapter collaboration forum, is hosting a free webinar series exploring the connection between planners, water resource health, and the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.  Each webinar will feature local planners leading projects positively impacting water quality, watersheds, and their communities.   Series runs January – June on the 3rd Thursday from 12pm – 1:30 pm.  AICP certificate credits will be available.   Learn about each webinar session and register here.

RVA Environmental Film Festival

Richmond’s film festival is returning in 2022. Running Feb 18th – March 4th local, regional, and national environmentally-focused films are presented.  Films are free and available through in-person, virtual and streaming format.  Learn more about the great film lineup and how to view here.
