Spark Innovation Center
The Spark Innovation Center is a dynamic collaboration between the Town of Altavista, Altavista on Track, the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission, the USDA, and various partners. However, the real driving force behind our success is the unwavering commitment of local leaders and small business owners who dare to dream big.
Avoca Museum
Designated a Virginia Historic Landmark and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, Avoca is the site of Revolutionary Patriot Colonel Charles Lynch, final resting place of Civil War Brigadier General James Dearing, and the home of the Fauntleroy Family. The property was donated to the Town of Altavista in 1981 and was restored beginning in 1991.
